The only problem with that is I'd have to play through the bad beginning and all that again.

It pays off. Big time.

But for MotB, you can just start at the beginning of it (but spoilers are abound). To be honest, it's what got me to be much more of a NWN2 fan.

The 2nd video went up yesterday too, and is somewhat better than the first. Both the videos are too generic for my liking, but not long to go till E3 so we should hear more.

wow! didn't know there was so much nwn1 players! I used to play that game too and it rocked (story-line, community mods and all) but then nwn2 came and nwn2 was really meh. It didn't have the feel of immersion, controls sucked, graphics sucked, faces sucked, and they didn't fix the rangers.

Dragon age looks nice though so hopefully it'll be another bioware classic

The screenshot has me much more excited than those crappy 'teasers'.

Hey,

I had read about this game in a German Game Magazine in 2006 or so... thought: Wooooooooot - Finally a Game, following the footsteps of Baldurs Gate. Great story, atmosphere, ... <3

But then I forgot about the game... heard nothing about it later, so I am very happy to finally see that it's alive.

That screen looks great btw

PS: NWN1, BG:I, BG:II rocks

When it releases in 2009, the graphics might look slightly dated, but the rest looks amazing. Full party based storydriven cRPG is what a lot of people have been looking for after BG2. NWN didn't feel that gap before the mercenaries weren't real party members.

I read some comments on gametrailers and it's so sad some games think that party in a game = mmo ==; It shows most newer games think that single player rpg can only be oblivion clones blah..
that gameplay trailer looked a little too LoTr-ish =P I'm so tired of Lotr but besides that I think it will be a good game. I hope party memebrs will be something more than henchmens. I want REALL interaction between them.

I didn't want to start a new thread, so I'm sure theres some Neverwinter Nights fans checking this one. It will be interesting to see how this measures out against Dragon Age.

Also the Witcher is getting a free "perfection patch" so to speak. Basically better graphics, all bugs fixed, and some new additions.

And here's an interview on combat system of Dragon Age.
